Accountancy and Control: Control
Master

The programme strikes a careful balance between professional and academic training in Accountancy and Control. Its graduates are recognized by employers as outstanding professionals with a critical mind.
The Control track emphasises the role that information plays in the management of organisations, focusing on both departments and people. Control is therefore about managing organisations (and not checking data): how to make sure the organisation reaches its goals? The Control programme comprises courses in Strategic Value Management and Corporate Financial Management.
The Amsterdam Business School (ABS) at the UvA specialises in providing students with the broad range of skills, in-depth knowledge and international expertise they will need in the business world and the public sector. One of the five research programmes is dedicated to Accounting, and students in the Master's in Accountancy & Control benefit from learning in an environment where developments in the field are constantly being explored.
