Business Administration: Entrepreneurship and Management in Creative Industries track
Master

The Business Administration track Entrepreneurship and Management in Creative Industries (EMCI) is intended for students who want to become successful entrepreneurs or managers in creative industries.
Creative industries range from theatres, museums and orchestras, to television production companies, music labels, industrial designers and computer game developers. You will learn about the most important and influential theories related to the creative industries and apply them to actual business cases.
The track revolves around the core concepts of creativity and innovation. First, creativity is the ability to create something that did not exist before. This raises questions such as: How can you effectively manage creative professionals? How can you balance creative behavior with commercial objectives? Second, innovation is both the process of turning creativity into a product, and the degree to which its novel features satisfy customer needs. This raises questions such as: How can we attract investors to share the risk of our innovative activities? How can we convince customers that our innovative products are of better quality?
