Business Administration: Financial Management
Master

How do you decide how much capital an organization needs? The Financial Management specialization of Business Administration is about acquisition, administration and allocation of financial resources.
The Financial Management specialization of the Master's programme in Business Administration is built on 3 main pillars: Corporate Finance, Accounting and Control and the financial sector. Professionals in financial management, whether they work for financial or non-financial companies, are required to have expertise in three major fields: they need to have a thorough understanding of how to raise and allocate capital (Corporate Finance), to know the lie of the land in the financial environment (financial sector) and to have a keen awareness of how to manage and report on internal financial flows (Accounting and Control).
In addition to the core curriculum that consists of courses in Corporate Financial Management, Financial Sector Management, Accounting and Control, Ethics and Academic Research, the programme offers a variety of electives. Students can opt for further specialisation in Corporate Finance, Accounting and Control or the Financial Sector.
The Financial Management specialization typically prepares students for a career in one of the many and varied professions that fall under the category of financial management.
