The master programme Cardiovascular Research of the VU University Medical Center is looking for talented students who have a heart for heart and vessels, and who are willing to be educated as top-scientists in Cardiovascular Science. The programme aims to transfer the joint expertise of fundamental science groups and clinical research groups of the Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (ICaR-VU) to the next generation of scientists in cardiovascular research and health care.

Your programme will cross disciplinary boundaries and brings you in contact with clinicians and fundamental scientists. The different courses will bring a whole range of topics related to cardiovascular disease.
