The bachelor of Fine Art is a four-year programme. During this programme you will learn to materilise your ideas, feelings and fascination in visual work, using different materials, techniques and media. You will be confronted with many possible aspects of contemporary art: ideas and concepts, media and domains, materials and technicques, artist positions and roles, studio practices and professional practices. You will be guided in finoud out what it means for you to be a professional artist.
An overview of the programme:
- Studio: working in the studio, workshop or a virtual environment
- Studio Support: knowledge and skills in all visual domains
- Studio Classroom: the relation between theoretical and practice-based artistic research
- Studio Electives: interdisciplinary and theoretical electives
- Theory: knowledge of context of the visual arts. Art history, visual analysis, philosophy and art theory
- Professional Practices: preparation for the professional practice
