It puts a special emphasis on environmental issues, such as waste, water, energy, biodiversity, sustainable cities and climate change. The programme covers technology, management and policy while putting the focus on natural sciences.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.

Application requirements
Secondary school examinations in both Chemistry and Mathematics are mandatory.
One of the general admission requirements for all our certificates is a secondary school diploma, which is equivalent to the Dutch HAVO (or VWO) diploma. Examples of equivalent levels are the International Baccalaureate diploma or A-Levels. You should also have successfully completed two years of Bachelor-level study programme in a relevant field. Applicants with a different background may also be eligible for enrolment. Several years of relevant work experience may compensate for a lack of form
