International Dairy Management

Aeres Dronten offers a one year program with a Dairy Bachelor Degree. The main focus of this study is the management of a dairy farm in your role as entrepreneur or advisor with high quality lecturers
Focus of this program is: Advisor in dairy business; Manager of a dairy farm; Entrepreneur in dairy.
Globalization and get a license to exist, produce and sell become more common worldwide, with different cultures, legislation and human resource management. The Netherlands plays a leading role in dairy with this chain approach “from grass to glass”. You will learn how to deal with differences in international dairy farming. The main focus is the management of a dairy farm with these challenges. The program contains assignments on farm level, applied lectures and practical training.
Four modules: Dairy specialist and advisor; Entrepreneur; Company placement or on ‘complex’ farm; Thesis.

You are able to make an applied farm analysis with translation to economic results. Get into depth with feeding, health, breeding, feed management and put these in practice! Lots of practical training on the job (understand, advice and optimize in practice)
