
Sustainability & Healthy Communities (30 EC)
Short or summer course

Understand problems within the Sustainable Development Goals and how to work towards solutions. For the second part of the programme students choose between:
1. Domestic Violence, including child abuse. It is crucial to be aware of the reality of domestic violence and to know what it can look like. Equally important is to know how to react and to create ways to stop the violence.
2. Global Health. What is needed to ensure healthy lives and wellbeing, specifically in low-income settings? Topics include primary health care, tropical diseases, mother child health, health promotion and resource allocation.
