The minor Technology to Innovate creates a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment for students of very different backgrounds to cooperate in the field of product design, innovation and smart sensors. You will work with students from different schools (multi-disciplinary) and countries (multi-cultural) within diverse project teams and learn the value of working with people with different specialties while designing and creating a new, innovative and useful service or product. You will enjoy a large amount of freedom and independence, but will also be accountable for the actions you take.
You will get lectures on Design Methodology, Sustainability, Creativity, Research Skills, Sensor Technology and other areas of your choice, but most of the time will be used in a practical project that aim to design products tailored for specific needs and develop those product ideas into working prototypes.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
