Transforming Society
Short or summer course

In this course you will work on deepening your vision about how Christian education can serve the community, and how you can play a part in this. We will focus on contemporary and societal challenges related to education, such as inequality, poverty and diversity; and you are encouraged to make this very specific to your own context. All this is done in the light of shalom and justice, as characteristics of God’s Kingdom.
By studying theory and reflection on their own practices, this course helps participants to enrich their practice (or the practices they serve) with insights into the development of organisations and people in Christian Education.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
