TU Delft African Water Corridor Scholarship

Description
Starting in 2025-2026, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) will offer the African Water Corridor Scholarship for two excellent Sub-Saharan Africa students in the Master programme Environmental Engineering, track Water Resources Engineering.
The scholarship is part of the TU Delft | Global Initiative Scholarship Fund: for many talented students in low- and middle-income countries, it is often not feasible to study at a world-class university of technology. TU Delft and Delft University Fund have therefore established the Delft Global Scholarship Fund. Thanks to the support of private donors we can enable exceptionally talented and motivated students from Sub-Saharan Africa to obtain an engineering degree at TU Delft. The grants contribute to strengthening the partnerships we have with African knowledge institutions and promote future leadership focused on inclusive, sustainable global development.
Scholarship
Two scholarships are available. Full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality, and living expenses.
Eligibility criteria
- Excellent Sub-Saharan Africa applicants admitted to the two-year MSc programme Environmental Engineering, track Water Resources Engineering.
- With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in the bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands.
- Students from any of the following regions: Sub-Saharan Africa.
Ena Voûte Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship

The faculty of Industrial Design and Engineering offers the Ena Voûte Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship for an international student applying for any one of the faculty’s three Master’s programmes.
Ena Voûte was dean of IDE from 2012 to 2022 and currently serves as TU Delft’s Pro Vice Rector of International Affairs. “As the design discipline orientates itself to global challenges such as sustainability and health, an international perspective is more important than ever, so I am proud that we are able to support a talented international student via this scholarship each year.”
Excellent international applicants (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year Regular TU Delft’s MSc programmes, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside the Netherlands.
Scholarship

TU Delft Scholarship for Water Governance

At the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management of TU Delft a number of full scholarships are available every year for excellent international applicants. Starting in 2024-2025, the Faculty TPM will offer the TU Delft Scholarship for Water Governance for one student in any of the Master programmes MOT, EPA or CoSEM.
The two-year master scholarship will be established at the TU Delft Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM). The master programmes of this faculty are designed to provide students with understanding both technologies and the context in which they play a role. Students follow technical modules and governance, management & organisation, economy and ethics modules. The scholarship may be granted to applicants who provide evidence of having experience with water (management of governance) and clear ambitions in this field.
The scholarship is part of the TU Delft Global Scholarship Fund: for many talented students in developing countries, it is often not feasible to study at a world-class university of technology. TU Delft and Delft University Fund have therefore established the Delft Global Scholarship Fund. These grants enable exceptionally talented and motivated students from low- and middle-income countries to obtain an engineering degree at TU Delft. The grants contribute to capacity building in developing countries and promote future leadership focused on sustainable development.

The scholarship comprises full tuition fees for a 2-year TU Delft TPM Master programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate and contribution for the living expenses.

- Excellent international applicants admitted to the two-year MSc programme MOT, EPA or CoSEM.
- With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in the bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands.
- Students from any of the following regions: East Asia & Pacific, Central Asia, Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa.
