Accountancy and Control
Master

The intensive and selective Master's in Accountancy & Control is designed to prepare you for a financial position, not only in auditing and consultancy, but also in industry, banking or government.
It has a strong international focus with respect to content, academic staff and student population. The programme consists of an Accountancy track and a Control track. The Amsterdam Business School (ABS) specialises in providing students with the broad range of skills, in-depth knowledge and international expertise they will need in the business world and the public sector. One of the five research programmes at the ABS is dedicated to Accounting, and students in the Master's in Accountancy & Control benefit from learning in an environment where developments in the field are constantly being explored.
The Accounting research programme is strongly multidisciplinary, and examines both the theoretical and social importance of accounting and accountability in a wide range of organisational contexts. The ABS's researchers are international experts and it has a thriving English-taught PhD programme, providing excellent opportunities for students who wish to go on to doctoral studies following their Master's.
