Become an expert in the molecular, cellular, and physiological processes behind stress adaptation in plants, animals and microorganisms. This research-oriented specialisation offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge techniques to prepare you for a career at the forefront of science and R&D.
In the Adaptive Organisms specialisation, you will become an expert in adaptation of individual organisms to environmental stressors. Alongside in-depth courses in molecular physiology, ecophysiology and quantitative biology, you will conduct your own experiments during two internships spanning at least a full year. You will gain hands-on experience with advanced equipment to quantify stress responses while developing a critical research mindset.
