The Bachelor ArtScience is a unique interdisciplinary art programme between the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) and the Royal Conservatoire (KC), that fosters curiosity-driven research as an approach to the creation of art. We see that traditional art forms such as music, film, theatre and visual art are increasingly influenced by social changes, scientific research and technological developments.
We offer a unique and practice-based creative programme that teaches you to research and conceive new art forms. The programme contains theoretical courses, workshops, research projects, individual projects and individual coaching. You will learn how to connect and transcend various art forms and areas of expertise, and are invited to re-invent art, as is needed in this century.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.

Application requirements
As part of the admission and selection procedure for the Bachelor ArtScience programme we ask you to demonstrate your artistic talent, intellectual curiosity and affinity with a wide range of artistic disciplines. You’ll be asked to show examples of earlier work and explain your motivation to study at the ArtScience Interfaculty.
