Business Information Technology
The three-year English-taught Bachelor’s in Business Information Technology (BIT) will give you both the business and the IT expertise you need to help companies perform better and more sustainably in our rapidly digitalising society. You will learn all about business administration, covering disciplines such as business modelling, finance engineering and project management. You will also become an IT expert, with knowledge of programming, software design, the interaction between humans and technology, or ERP and workflow management systems. This will make you a specialist in designing information systems for business purposes: you will know how to make processes smarter, and how to solve complex automation problems in large companies. Especially with an additional master’s degree, you will find plenty of job opportunities. You are likely to start in a job that bridges the gap between people – such as management or system users – and IT. For example, IT manager or CIO, Researcher in an R&D department, IT analyst, IT architect, consultant, or project manager. This can be in almost any sector: from energy, construction, and traffic & transport to the manufacturing industry.
