Chemical Engineering and Chemistry

Chemical engineers and chemists are at the heart of the world's greatest challenges: clean energy, recyclable materials, sustainable industry, and molecules for advanced healthcare.

Starting from academic year 2027/2028, this bachelor's program will be offered in two tracks: Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and Scheikundige Technologie. Both tracks have the same curriculum, courses, and learning outcomes. The only difference is the language of instruction.

• Chemical Engineering and Chemistry is taught entirely in English and has a selection procedure.
• Scheikundige Technologie is taught bilingually (Dutch and English) and does not have a selection procedure.

The bachelor's program Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at TU/e combines chemistry, materials science, and process engineering into a versatile degree.
