The Master's in Classics and Ancient Civilizations (CAC) offers you the opportunity to become an expert in the literature and societies of the Ancient Mediterranean. In the track Ancient Civilizations you will specialize in themes related to Ancient Studies, such as religion, gender and urban history. You will be able to follow and develop your personal interests, among others by tapping into the wide array of expertise of eminent scholars at UvA and VU Amsterdam.
The Master Classics and Ancient Civilizations is offered jointly by VU Amsterdam and the UvA – combining their expertise in the Amsterdam Centre for Ancient Studies and Archaeology (ACASA).
