Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology
Master
Which factors contribute to the development of children and adolescents? How and why do emotional, behavioural or social problems emerge? How can such problems be prevented or treated effectively?
In Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, you will gain the professional knowledge and skills needed in the fields of developmental psychopathology, assessment and intervention. You will complete an internship and conduct practice-oriented research. During the internship, you will familiarise yourself with the developmental psychology profession, train your skills and apply your knowledge in practice. In your thesis project, you will use the skills and insights gained regarding data analysis- and research methods acquired during your studies. Over the course of the year, you will also work on the Academic Professional module in order to prepare for the practice of the profession.
