Communication Science: Professional Research Master's

The Research Master's (Professional specialisation) in Communication Science is part of the flagship training programme of the Graduate School of Communication. It enables you to connect communication science theories and rigorous research methods to communication practice, as well as gain professional research experience by pursuing an internship in a professional communication organization.

We assist you in designing a study programme suited to your theoretical and research interests, consisting of:

* substantive courses in the fields of corporate, persuasive, entertainment, and political communication
* advanced research methodology courses enabling the student to conduct high-quality research in applied settings
* internship in a professional communication organization and/or in the communication departments of organisations
* Master's thesis in the form of a research project

Upon successful completion of the programme, you are awarded a Research Master's of Science (MSc) degree in Communication Science. It is possible to transfer from the one year Master's programme in Communication Science to the Research Master's programme in Communication Science.
