Bachelor

Information technology has plays a part in almost every aspect of our lives. This programme teaches you to solve social problems and making smart, user-friendly and secure digital tools.
What is the best and fastest route for the transport of organ donations? How can you make the diagnosis of cancer more accurate with smart software? And how can you devise a system to properly distribute refugees across municipalities? In the English-taught Bachelor's degree in Computing Science at Radboud University, you combine theory and practice; you will gain a broad and solid mathematical foundation that will allow you to deal with and shape the information technologies of the future, and you will learn various programming languages. But it's more than just learning to program; you will be trained to be a top-level computer expert, so you will learn how software works, how information is represented as digital data and the underlying mathematical and logical principles. You will study how all this is implemented in hardware such as computers and digital networks and how to apply cybersecurity to protect IT systems.
