Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship (joint degree)
Master
Learn to use data science to develop innovative activities for large corporations and promising start-ups, by focusing on real-life assignments. A joint program of Tilburg University and TU/e.
In the Master Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship (DSBE) you cover all necessary disciplines to successfully apply data science in business and entrepreneurship in a responsible way. Data engineering is about designing systems handling the data infrastructure. Data analytics is about data science and AI models you run on the data. Since all models inevitably provide an output, interpreting, explaining, and interacting with this output is critical. That is why data-driven decision-making is needed. Data-driven business development is about translating the models into business impact, supported by law and ethics that the first four disciplines need to align with.
You will study and work as part of a close-knit and interactive community of students, researchers and companies on Tilburg University's and TU/e's dedicated JADS (Jheronimus Academy of Data Science) campus in 's-Hertogenbosch.
When starting your own business, you can make use of the support and encouragement by JADS Playground & MKB Datalab.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
