European Public Health
Bachelor

European Public Health (EPH) is about preventing disease and promoting healthy lifestyles for all Europeans with clear European policy - because diseases, pathogens and other factors that influence health aren’t stopped by borders.
EPH - being the only programme of its kind in Europe - explores health and healthcare from an international and European perspective. You'll study regional, national and international developments in public health and healthcare within the EU. You'll learn about the various aspects of public health policy and the steps that are taken toward a 'New Public Health' across Europe. You'll also develop the skills you need to work in governmental or healthcare-related organisations, or in EU or WHO units. You become a health scientist who can bridge the gaps between health science and national and international (EU) policy.
This programme is very internationally oriented. From the first day, you're part of an international study environment in which you work with students from all over the world. Our current student body counts more than 20 different nationalities, from both in and outside the EU.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
