Are you curious about what’s in your food and how it’s made? In the bachelor Food Technology you’ll learn how to develop safe, tasty and healthy food products that meet the demands of a fast-changing world. You take courses such as food safety, product development, nutrition and sustainable food processing. What you learn in the classroom, you apply straight away in the high-tech lab and test kitchen—where you turn your ideas into real food products, like plant-based burgers or protein-packed snacks. You gain international experience during internships at food companies in Europe or beyond.

After graduation, you can become a product developer creating the next big thing in healthy snacks, a quality specialist making sure chocolate or energy drinks are safe, or a process technologist improving how food is produced. Food is everywhere—so your skills will be in demand worldwide.
