Bachelor

By choosing the Bachelor in Food Technology (BSc) you could become one of the food experts who dedicate their career to developing new products and introducing them onto the international food market.
Could chewing gum with chocolate flavour or seaweed pasta be your idea? Whether you call yourself a foodie or want to contribute to global food issues, you will always find your way with this innovative study programme. Food Technology combines courses in the lab on chemistry and microbiology with business courses such as marketing and strategy. You will also gain knowledge of product processes and properties and of the impact of food on the human body. From day one, you will apply your knowledge in practice.
When you choose the specialisation in Food Innovation Management, you will learn how to research the market and explore customer demands. This will allow you to create successful new food products. Will you help in the development of healthier food? Or you choose the specialisation Food Safety and Health and learn how to manage and analyse the safe production of food. With so many food producers, there are plenty of jobs for graduates!
