Global Law
Bachelor

The world is changing fast. Deals between companies from all over the world are made every minute of the day. Institutions are increasingly confronted with the influence of international jurisdictions and rules. This requires lawyers who are able to deal with the range of legal implications that arise. LLB Global Law helps you develop the skills to understand and deal with complex legal challenges from multiple points of view, and become the linking pin in large organizations. As a Global Law student, you will view legal cases from a completely new perspective: the program combines insights from multiple legal systems rather than studying law by reference to one national law only. In each subject, the global, rather than the local point of view is assumed. This will provide you with the tools you need in order to work in the legal department of a business, work with professionals from different disciplines, and lead and advise teams. With the LLB Global Law you will be fully prepared for a key position in this international environment. If you have a previous Bachelor's degree in a different field, for example, economics, sociology, or liberal arts, you may be exempted from courses offered in the 1st year. In this way, you can obtain your degree in two years' time; the Global Law Fast Track.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
