Industrial Design Engineering
In the three-year English-taught Bachelor’s in Industrial Design Engineering (IDE), you will learn to combine creativity with technology and engineering to improve existing consumer products and to design the products of the future. Your products will not just look good, but will also be geared to the production process, packaging requirements, recyclability, and the real needs of end-users. You will gain a firm grasp of the entire design process, from ideas to market introduction, while going deeper into technology and engineering than you would in any other design-oriented programme. You will cover a variety of subjects, from mathematics, mechanics and material science to graphic design, ergonomics and marketing. As an academically grounded, tech-savvy, entrepreneurial Industrial Design Engineer, you will be comfortable with all aspects of the product development process and capable of handling complex, cross-disciplinary challenges. Especially with an additional Master’s degree, you will find plenty of job opportunities. You can get a job in engineering and production, research and development, or management and consultancy – or launch your own startup.
