Industrial Design Engineering
Bachelor
In this Bachelor's, you will learn how to combine technology and creativity to design meaningful products. You will work on challenging projects that address real societal issues – from designing for people with disabilities to developing sustainable innovations for companies like Philips, Johma, and Fresh ’n Rebel. In our workshop, you and your fellow students will design and build both physical and digital solutions.
You will become proficient in all stages of the design process: from the first idea to a tested prototype, and from user research to material selection and production. Along the way, you will deepen your knowledge of engineering, design methods, mathematics, and social sciences. After graduation, you will have plenty of job opportunities. For example, you could work as a user experience designer, product developer, or innovation expert at companies like LEGO and Philips, design firms, start-ups, or within governments and NGOs.
