This programme follows a unique challenge-driven teaching approach, with a focus on solving today’s most pressing societal challenges. This means that you will learn to make use of economic theory and empirical methods to address global challenges hands on. Your toolbox of theories and methods will range from labour economics, growth theory and industrial organisation, to behavioural and experimental economics, applied econometrics and data science. Based on your preference, this programme allows you to choose specialisations that relate to the three following societal challenges:
