The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.

Application requirements
After you register in Studielink (www.studielink.nl) we invite you to start the 3-round assessment procedure. For round 1 you send in the application form together with a photo, motivation letter and a video. For round 2 you write a short essay.
If assessed positive, you will be invited to our online final assessment round, during which we will discuss your artistic contributions, and furthermore you will discuss your final assessment with fellow candidates. See our website for more details.

The Zuyd Excellence Scholarship is offered to talented and highly motivated non-EU students that apply for iArts. A combination of The Holland Scholarship and Zuyd Excellence Scholarship is also a possibility.
NL Scholarship
The NL Scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands.
