The Mathematics department in Nijmegen has a strong expertise in a broad range of fields in pure mathematics, applied mathematics and mathematical physics. Within all tracks you can select from a large variety of courses and build you own tailor-made programme. In addition to the training in modern mathematics you will develop a full range of transferable skills highly valued in all career paths.
You can specialise within a research field in Mathematics, or choose one of the synergy tracks, if you are interested in interdisciplinary applications. The synergy tracks connect mathematics with other fields of science.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits.
