Where life sciences meet business. This joint programme combines the expertise business and medicine to educate a new class of professionals equipped with a unique set of interdisciplinary skills.
You will develop the managerial knowledge essential to leverage innovation and will learn how to recognise and fully understand the most promising biomedical discoveries, which may constitute the foundation for future business opportunities. As a graduates, you will occupy an exclusive professional niche at the interface of biomedical research, management, and intra- and entrepreneurship.This new programme, offered by RSM and Erasmus MC in a unique collaboration, will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage innovation in the life sciences, from the initial development of an idea to its commercialisation. You will learn how to design innovation strategies, generate ideas and manage innovation projects and teams. You will also learn about the specifics of medical innovation and the role of intellectual property. You can choose electives that suit your interests and ambitions and can apply your knowledge and skills during an internship.
