Will you help navigate society towards environmental sustainability? In this Master's programme you learn about planetary boundaries and societal transitions, and acquire skills to solve sustainability challenges with societal actors.
In the Master’s programme Science for Sustainability, you will learn how to collaborate with companies, governments and societal organisations to address urgent sustainability challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss and resource scarcity.
You will explore the complex interaction between humans and nature, learn to work with system models, and discover how organisations can drive sustainable change. In the second year, you will focus on your master’s thesis, applying your knowledge in your own research project.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits.
