Science, Management and Innovation
Master
In Science, Management and Innovation (SMI) you will gain expertise addressing societal challenges, work towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and learn to speak in the languages of policy and business.
Science, Management and Innovation is a unique, two-year programme in which you first advance your knowledge in your scientific field and then apply it to a societal relevant business or policy question. You will learn how innovation is managed in companies, how policy is made in government, and you will discuss several approaches to today’s societal challenges. You will improve your ability to cooperate with actors from other disciplines. You will gain work experience outside of academia during your Master’s and develop skills including interviewing, oral presentation, cooperation and entrepreneurship. You will create a unique profile with your disciplinary background and combine this with one of the focus track areas related to the Sustainable Development Goals: Health, Climate & Energy or Biodiversity.
