Science & Society: Communicating Research in a Changing World
Short or summer course

A 5-day online course that helps scholars design, refine, and publish leadership research in top-tier management journals.
Leadership is one of the most studied, but also most challenging topics to publish in top management journals. This five-day online course offers tailored, hands-on support for advanced PhD students, postdocs, and early-career scholars working on leadership-related research.
Through expert-led lectures, feedback sessions, and track-based workshops (conceptual papers, systematic literature review, and qualitative, or quantitative studies), participants will learn how to craft strong theoretical contributions, navigate peer review, and position their work for publication. Whether at the idea stage or nearing submission, the course helps sharpen arguments, enhance rigor, and learn about journal expectations.

ECTS
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a student-centred system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme of study. Its aim is to facilitate the recognition of study periods undertaken by mobile students through the transfer of credits. The ECTS is based on the principle that 60 credits are equivalent to the workload of full-time student during one academic year.
