The module “Wastewater Treatment Processes and Technologies” equips participants with the essential knowledge and tools to evaluate, design, and optimize modern wastewater treatment systems. Combining theoretical principles with practical applications, it enables participants to assess the performance of existing facilities and develop customized treatment configurations that effectively remove carbon, nutrients, and pathogens according to specific wastewater characteristics.

The course covers a wide range of key technologies, including activated sludge systems, anaerobic reactors, waste stabilization ponds, constructed wetlands, and membrane bioreactors. By the end of the module, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of both conventional and advanced treatment processes, preparing them to design and implement sustainable wastewater management solutions.
